Riverlights Multicultural Festival celebrates diversity through food, music, dance and interactive experiences.
Riverlights transforms The Levee into a global village. Visitors can see, taste, feel and experience the different cultures being demonstrated and activities such as live music, dancing, language classes, lantern making and cooking demonstrations.
The event really shines at night, with the popular festival parade and magical lantern flotilla featured on the Hunter River, an unforgettable experience.

Helping Riverlights shine
Greater Bank returned as a Major Event Sponsor of Maitland Riverlights Multicultural Festival in 2018, bringing fun, food, entertainment and education to Hunter locals. As part of the day's events, Greater Bank presented $1,000 to each of our three winning #GreaterRiverlights schools, for their outstanding Riverlights lantern designs. Thanks to Maitland City Council, My Maitland and all of our staff and volunteers who made this event such a huge success.
